In November, SVPs of Nissan North America Inc. (NNA) Ponz Pandikuthira, Christopher Reed and David Johnson, the head of Technology and IoV of NML Europe, the heads of the relevant business divisions of NML, and James Cook, CFO of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., etc. made a visit to Lan-you Technology to learn our business development and latest achievements in creating advanced digitally intelligent solutions for the automotive industry.

At the Lan-you Technology showroom, General Manager Hu Yongli warmly welcomed the visiting guests, introduced the current status of our two core businesses –digital services and intelligent products, and presented our core capabilities focused on the full value chain of the automotive industry, including intelligent manufacturing, digital marketing, intelligent networking platforms, intelligent cockpits and intelligent driving, as well as our relevant qualifications, patents and technology talent teams. “Since the second half of last year, we have also undertaken NML IS projects in hopes of delivering our products and solutions globally,” said Hu.

When it came to the collaboration between Lan-you Technology and Dongfeng Nissan, Hu said, “Lan-you Technology is a firm supporter of the implementation of Dongfeng Nissan’s digitalization and intelligence business, and has a close cooperation mechanism with Dongfeng Nissan’s IS, Technology Center and other divisions. Both sides work on an integrated operation model, where on the R&D side, Lan-you Technology is under the strategic and execution management of the Dongfeng Nissan Technology Center; while on the execution side, we establish a closely working joint project team with IS for rapid software iteration.” This model has enabled Lan-you Technology to gain localized capabilities and respond quickly, and supported the implementation of Dongfeng Nissan’s full value chain digitalization and intelligence projects.

The guests were then further informed of Lan-you Technology’s developments in MarTech, Smart IoV End-Cloud Integration, Intelligent Manufacturing, User Experience Research and other business fields, efforts to explore best practices and application achievements of the relevant latest technologies. Both sides also discussed new concepts and technologies emerging in the development and transformation of the automotive industry, and cooperation opportunities brought by technological innovation.

“The solutions and user experiences generated by Lan-you are so impressive,” said the guests after experiencing Lan-you Technology’s self-developed intelligent driving achievements such as high-speed NOA, HPA memory parking, and automatic emergency braking (AEB). “Through your introduction, we have learned more about the Chinese automotive consumer market and the application of relevant technologies. Lan-you Technology has many years of experience in automotive intelligence and provides the industry with many impressive and innovative ideas.”

At the Japan Mobility Show that opened on October 25, Makoto Uchida, CEO of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (NML), said in a media interview, “We view China as a unique core market, and are committed to gaining insights into changes in the Chinese market and meeting the demand of Chinese users. NML will continue to invest in China and work together with Chinese partners to explore and identify countermeasures. We will leverage NML’s existing technological advantages in the fields of electric drives and batteries to launch products more suited to the needs of Chinese consumers and develop more consumer groups together with suppliers and other upstream and downstream partners. To this end, we are discussing with local partners in China how to align our current and future strategies.”

Since this April, senior executives and regional leaders of NML, including CEO Makoto Uchida, have made visits to Lan-you Technology many times. Through close communication in all business fields, both sides have enhanced mutual understanding and trust and created a positive space for further mutual communication and cooperation in the future.
